This will be my third year participating in the annual NW Guts & Glory Walk/Run (those of you who know me know which one I'll be doing) for the CCFA. This year's event is Sunday, August 12. The team I am with is called The Rolling Crohn's. I am trying to raise $250 - a modest amount - so if you're itching to get rid of $10, help a girl out. I do appreciate it.

I was out of town all last week, so that explains the lack of new and exciting entries.

My bro-in-law sent some recent photos today of our neice and nephew. I know I'm partial, but they are the cutest kids ever. EVER. I wish we lived closer so we could see them more often.

Dan turns 39 today. I told him I was sorry his birthday was so crappy with Gabe's passing yesterday, and he responded "yeah, but at least I'm not turning 40". That's such a Danism.

By the way, I have no idea who the kid next to Dan is.

Our hearts are heavy tonight. Gabe took a turn for the worse and we had to say goodbye this afternoon. He gave us 12 incredible years and we will never have another like him.
