like watching a train wreck...

...and I can't stop. I'm talking about NBC's show "America's Got Talent". I've been engrossed all week. Mainly because we don't have cable in the bedroom and we're forced to watch any network that will come in through the ol' rabbit ears. I normally hate these type of reality shows. What's with this one ?? I'm not that fond of any of the judges and think Jerry Springer is a joke. All I know is that I voted 10 times last night for this act:

Anyone else sucked into this madness ???

I am really glad you posted this, because my dvr cut off the last act due to the RNC running past the normal start time for this show. And of course I had forgotten to go online to see who was the last act. They are truly amazing and that was an impressive performance!

The first season of this show last summer is the first "reality" show I had ever watched. Since then I have also watched and loved Dancing with the Stars and American Idol - just this last season. There is a lot of talented people out there and I find inspiration and hope in the future of our world seeing people who are so motivated to be so good at something that has a positive effect on the rest of us.

Glad you got to see it ! I think they're amazing.

I like American Idol at the very beginning - when you get to see everyone try out. Makes me feel better about my singing ability ! You're right, there are SO many talented people out there and these shows let us see a bit of that talent pool.
