Besides the most obvious reasons I like having family and other guests in town, I enjoy going to places while they are here that I would never frequent otherwise. The day Dan and his brother went to Mount Rainier, my sister-in-law and I took the kids to the Seattle Aquarium. We've lived here for 12 years now and it's one place we have never been. It recently underwent a major renovation project. I was pleasantly surprised at how cool it was ! There were great interactive exhibits that the kids really enjoyed, a huge walk-thru clear ring with jelly fish inside, swimming otters in their habitats, sea lions .... we had a really good time.
