Ichiro breaks another record !

Ichiro Suzuki singled in the fifth inning of today's game against the Blue Jays for his 200th hit of 2010, marking his 10th straight season to reach that number. Pete Rose had ten seasons of 200+ hits from 1965-1979, but never had more than three years in a row during that time.

Way to go, Ichiro !  Seattle is lucky to have you.

This is one heck of an achievement. If I remember correctly he played a few years in Japan so he has not had the benefit of playing in the U.S. his whole career. A guaranteed first ballot hall of famer. Congrats.
